Estelle Legrand is a textile designer born in the north of France. She now lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.
Passionate about the artistic world since childhood, she begins her art studies in the concept section of the Saint Luc Institute in Tournai. She takes real pleasure to create. She starts to develop a certain affinity for meticulous practices and sets out to producing textile objects. After 2 years in concept art and a new diploma in hand, pursuing styling studies seems obvious to her. After this first step, she feels the need to explore clothes creation further and chooses to pursue her studies in textile design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. There she learns to design from a single thread.

At the end of her studies, she moves to Paris to work for the biggest fashion houses. She starts as a textile designer for the Maison Lesage. This prestigious institution provides her with the opportunity to design unexpected items, to revisit the archives in order to meet the demand of customers who are curious about new products.

Estelle’s mission is to imagine and develop prototypes that preserve Maison Lesage’s craftsmanship while adding a new dimension.

After 7 years immersed in the world of luxury (Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, etc.), Estelle decides to focus on more personal, experimental and artistic projects. At the same time, she returns to school and obtains her Teacher Training Certificate for Upper Secondary Education in plastic, visual and spatial arts. Teaching allows her to share her know-how and her passion for art.
